Hard Drive problem

When i load my computer it asks me to choose which operating system i would
like to load, both are Windows XP, and in My Computer it shows i have 2 hard
drives but i have only got one actual hard drive. I need to get rid of one of
the hard drives that shows in My Computer and stop the computer asking me
which operating system i want to load. Anybody know what the problem is?

do you have partitions set up on your hard drive? you can check this via the
Disk management console.

disk management console? Sorry, not a clue, but i did formet the hard drive
recently and i think i did set up a partition. was that right?
