Hard Drive Partions Are Not Showing Up

I was runnning Windows Vista Beta 2 and I reinstalled Windows XP Home Edition
with SP1. After the install I noticed that my second hard drive with all of
my important files (It is a 200GB Seagate Barracuda) was not showing up in My
Computer. In Device Manager it says that the hard drive is working fine, but
it isn't. And in Disk Management it shows the disk but that it is a dynamic
drive, but with none of the partions that I had set-up.

I need to reccover my files and all help is appreciated!!!

If you right-click on the drive (not the volume) in Disk Management is there
an option to convert back to a basic disk? If so, that might work, or it could
make recovery even more difficult. Ideally, you'd want to clone the disk to
another and try the operation on the clone. At least, then you'll still have other
recovery options available.

Just curious what Vista build you had installed? It's really not a good idea
to test a beta OS without backups in place..
