Hard drive noise

My hard drive is making noise & slows a bit when it has to work. If I put a
new hard drive in can I reinstall my current version of XP Home & re-activate
it?

I suggest you immediately make an image backup of the drive.(I
recomend Acronis True Image.) Then install the new drive and restore
the image to it.

You won't hqve to separately restore XP and re-activate it.
