hello again

got my new pc up and running and seams to run fine - but a few days ago - windows 7 started telling me my hardrive is faulty and i need to back up and replace or repair it

windows 7 asks me to backup my system but ive tried that a few times but it fails for some reason

ive got 2 x 74gb raptors and im guessing wondows is telling me its the main one thats at fault - its there a good program that i can use to test and possible fix my harddrive

if i can fix it good - but if its no use ill take it out and just use other harddrivve as i dont use it anyway apart from back ups - which i also use my usb keys to back up - then i would upgrade when i get some money to get a solid state haddrrive - as ive heard they are very good and fast - but at the moment just dont have money as ive just upgraded

thax for any replys kenny

Once you get messages saying that your drive could fail, they are rarely wrong. :( Be sure to get everything off them that you need as soon as possible.

You should be able to download the "Data Lifeguard Diagnostics" for your WD drive from this page (just click your model):
