hard drive drivers fail to install in XP Pro when additional drives are added

The drives work fine, but I am a little concerned about
data safety. I have updated with all updates from
windows update and still no go.

the drives are both seagate barracuda on is 80Gig, one is
40gig, the SATA drive in the machine works and installed
just fine.
 
David, are they showing up in the Bios but not in device manager. Whats
your motherboard make and model?
