Hard Disk Problem

I'm running XP with an Athlon64 and 120MB Seagate SATA hard drive that has
been partioned with C: and E: drives C: being the System drive and E: data.
There is also a hidden partion that I believe was set up by PC manufacturer
who installed OEM version of Windows. The hard drive seems to be working hard
or slow, taking a long time to load files and to boot up. I've run the
Seagate Seatools that on the one hand says no problems but on the other
reports that there are errors in the Index File and in the Metadata file and
that they should be checked and corrected using Chkdsk. But Chkdsk finds
nothing wrong. What do I do now!!

Try run,type:cmd In cmd type:CHKDSK C: Then type:CHKDSK C: /F Agree
to restart,type:EXIT Restart computer.
