Hard Disk Information retrieval

Recently had an access problem to my laptop. I had to reset the laptop using
my factory settings setup restore disc.

Is there any way in which any information I had on the hard disc before this
process is still there for me to retrieve. thank you

Recovery Pro by Ontrack (www.ontrack.com)

Highly unlikely. The restore procedure re-images the hard drive and this
will leave little if any information useful for retrieval.
