I have bought a maxtor 200gb sata harddisk for my self builded pc.
it works fine i install windows xp prfessional but it only reads 127 gb of
the 200
in the bios it says that the hard disk really has a capicity of 200gb

aw fine i thought i should install service pack 1 first so i did.
I want all the 200 gb as my C disk. But im forced too make a partition
because te space is kept apart from the C now that my pc finally reads the
200 gb

how can i make the 200 gb as one C disk???

The original XP install process had this problem where the drive is limited
to 127G (or 137GB). Windows XP SP1(a) fixes this. You will need to
"slipstream" SP1(a), or SP2, into your original XP install CD and create a
new XP install CD.
