Hangs while loading

I'm getting a delay when the computer boots. It makes it all the way to
showing the desktop (background) without any icons or taskbar, then it sits
there for about a minute before it finishes loading the desktop. If I open
the task manager as soon as it hits this point then I can see the System Idle
process is getting 99% of the CPU time and it doesn't appear to be doing
anything at all. After the delay it will continues as normal (loads the
remaining processes and the icons/taskbar appear).

I've used "msconfig" to remove nearly all startup processes so I'm not sure
what its trying to do.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Your problem is with a driver. Boot with Boot Logging turned on then look at
the NTBTLOG.TXT file to locate the offending driver. You should note the
time between driver loading is a long time. This should give you an
indicator of which driver is failing and then remove it.
