Hangs at Preparing to Hibernate

My xp pro comp hangs at the preparing to hibernate screen. Any idea what
would cause this?
 
By any chance, do you have Alcohol 120 % program installed? If so, is your
disk subsystem SCSI?
 
No to both questions. I recently installed a home network and think the
problem might be that.
