XP is driving me nuts. When I try to go to a program I
have a hanging application error. I try the to end
program and it hangs up. I have for the past 18 months
sent the problem to microsoft and have had no response
from them. Sometimes the only solution is to turn off the
computer and lose everything I am doing. I work on my web
page quite a bit and when it hangs up there I lose all my
work that has not been saved. HELP!!!

You might have a hardware problem. Have you checked with the
manufacturer of your computer for assistance? Have you confirmed the
machine has the right spec for XP?

The internet is the prob. if you have no connect to the
internet then you will have no viries. I use win xp pro
and all thou i use a vires program none of them will trap
a vires before it infects a file that windows needs i
maybe wrong but i do not thing so.thouse with cable
modems are the most afected in that the programers of
vires can get to your computer very fast.
