Hanging Application

I am constantly getting the following error
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Application Hang
Event Category: (101)
Event ID: 1002
Date: 4/18/2004
Time: 1:44:22 AM
User: N/A
Computer: OEMCOMPUTER
Description:
Hanging application rstrui.exe, version 5.1.2600.0, hang
module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.

The hanging application is always something different and
occasionally the hang module is something different but I
might receive this error 10 times in an hour(or more).
What can I do to fix this?

Rstrui.exe is what loads your Restore points . Read this & see if you have
it set up correctly:

1. In My Computer, click the Tools menu -> Folder Options.
2. On the View tab, make sure to check the option "Hide extensions for known file types".
3. Click OK.
4. Click the Start menu -> Run. Type: " %windir%\inf " (Without quotation
marks) in the Open field. Click OK.
5. Locate and select the file " sr.inf ". Right-click it and then click Install.
