Of late I have been having problems with viruses being detected - but now all have been detected and deleted (the computer is "clean"). But now while I am in the middle of working on the computer, the screen suddenly freezes (a blue screen comes up with "dumping physical memory" appearing). the only way i can get out is by rebooting. This has occured several times a day - sometimes often, sometimes not (but least twice a day). any ideas what is wrong and how to solve teh prob? have used Nortons as well as AVG Antivirus - both show no virus
Thanks

Firstly if you have two AV apps installed they are liable to conflict with
each other, causing problems.

Have you installed any new drivers? If so, delete them and
see if the problem stops.

If you were in fact infected with a virus or two, be aware that while
the virus code itself can be detected/removed, changes made to the
system (modified or substituted files) may not be. The AV program may
report that it has removed the virus, and it has. But rogue system files
need to be removed. Go to a site like Symantec for info on specific viruses.
