Half Green Screen

Whenever I try to publish a movie it comes out squished to the top, and green
at the entire bottom half.

If anyone knows how I can fix this problem it would be greatly appreciated.
I'm putting this together for a film demo.

My Dell doesn't have XVid under all programs. Where is it?

Xvid is a codec and will be found in your compatibility tab in movie maker
