H P Printer very slow after OS change

Hi all,
I hope everyone is have a good night.

I have a HP Deskjet 932C Printer. I changed my OS from ME
to W2K Pro. It started printing very slowly after the OS
change. It worked fine before the change. I checked my HP
owners manual to see if I could find an solution to my
problem. It advised me that ME and W2K Pro used different
drivers. I went to the HP Download site and downloaded and
installed the correct drivers for W2K Pro. It did not
change the print speed. I have deleted and installed them
several times, but still have the problem. Does anyone
have any ideals how to solve my problem?

You were supposed to disconnect the printer prior to the upgrade. See:

for details on how to completely uninstall and reinstall your printer.
Although originally written for XP, the details are the same for Windows
2000.

Thanks for your advise. I will try what you advised, but
the processor was disconnected and the computer tech. took
the unit to his home and changed the OS. He may have added
some more programs after he brought it back and hooked it
up. I will get back to you and let you know how the
uninstall?re-install turns out.
