GWSCAN

This probably isn't a question about Windows, but I'm not sure where else to
go. A Gateway computer is showing something called GWSCAN is ready to be
installed on your computer. It can help fix and find hard drive problems.
The Gateway website doesn't have anything on GWSCAN. Has anyone heard about
this and is it something that should be loaded?

Not until you confirm that it really is from Gateway. You can best do that
by contacting Gateway support and asking.
