Guidelines for Templates with Included content

Using FP2003, I would like to save a page containing Included Content as a
template, to make it easy to create similar pages in future. When attempting
to save as a template (.tem), FP2003 asks me where to save the images
(images on the page as well as theme images). If I accept the default (in my
web), it saves the files under the \\..Application Data\MS\FP\ directory.

So far so good.

However, when I wish to create a new page using the template just created,
the resulting new page shows the included content as
[fpweb:///Folder_name/file_name.htm], but the included contents are not
visible either in design view or in preview modes.

Is there something I shoudl be doing differently or is there a better way to
do this?

You can't include images or external content, because the template is in the FP application folder.

The best option is to create your page, then save as template.htm within the current web, then open
this page and do a save as any time you need to create another similar page.

or better still, save as a Dynamic Web Template, that can be attached to new
and existing pages.
