I am trying to use guided help to repair a system running XP Home where I am
getting the error of "Windows Could not start because the following file is
missing or corrupt: \Windows\System32\config\system"

I have loaded the Guided_Help file onto a USB drive and try running it on
the problem computer and it keeps telling me the command is not recognized.

Any suggestions?? Thank you!

You have to be logged in as an Administrator and running Windows. Unfortunately your
problem relates to not be able to start Windows.
Then logically, if you can't start Windows you can't run the program.
Perhaps try the manual steps.
