What would casue the unique volume label seen via running
mountvol to change? We have a SAN that has backup LUN's
that mirror with the product server LUN's. When it comes
time to backup a script is ran that breaks the mirrored
drives and mounts them to the backup server to backup our
production data. This has been running for about a month
without problems. Now we are starting to see problems
with this unique volume label keep changing. We can't
figure out what is causing these changes. A sample of one
of these ID's is seen below.

\\?\Volume{e2464851-8089-11d2-8803-806d6172696f}\ C:\

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Greg W.
