Group Policy Problem

Don

I recently purchased a new laptop with Windows XP which I
configured several Group policy settings on.
Specifically I enabled the "Password must meet complexity
requirements" setting. I then joined the computer to my
SBS 2000 domain. Now when I attempt to disable this
policy setting it is greyed out and I cannot change it.
The same is true for all policy settings under "Computer
configuration \ Windows Settings \ Security Settings\
Account Policies". I have tried logging on as both local
and domain administrator. In either case I cannot change
any of these settings.

Please advise...
Thanks,
Don

Yes. However when I disconnect my laptop from the
network and just logon locally I still have the
restriction.

A domain member "behaves" according to the GPO rules of the
domain even when disconnected.
If a policy is being applied by GPO changing it locally is unavailable.
