Group Policy and Security Groups

I've read the previous posts about this subject and still my Security Groups
are still not getting the group policy!

I've create an OU and placed a Security Group in that OU.
I've created a user group policy on the OU and assigned Read and Apply to
the Security Group.
I've tried rebooting, logoff / in, and gpupdate.exe to try and apply the
policy.

Is there anyway to find out why the GP isn't installing...?

Any help would be grateful....

You can't add a group to the OU??

So how do you get around a single user belong to mulitple OU's for different
Policies??
