I have several conference rooms that I would like to schedule using Outlook.
How do I create a calendar posted in public folders that will allow certain
people (as restricted by me) to view the conference room schedule to
determine availability? Can those approved users also block of a time period
using that calendar to reserve the room? Thanks for any help!

You can set permissions on any folder through its Properties dialog. However, for best results for room scheduling, don't use a public folder. Use a mailbox instead. See http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/skedresource.htm
