Group By Conversation

Hi All,

Client: Outlook 2000

I am following several mailing lists for various open-source projects, but seem to be
having trouble with viewing the message, and following the conversation.

I can't seem to tell Outlook to group the messages by Subject, but ignoring the "FW:" or
"RE:" tags at the start. I read somewhere about the "Conversation" field, but it doesn't
appear to work for all messages. Most messages have the "Conversation" field equal to the
"Subject" field, which means it includes the "Re:"/"Fw:" tags.

Has anyone else has this problem? Any solutions?

That's been fixed a bunch since OL2000. It's a bit better in OL2003 and much
better, at least to me, in OL2007. Not sure if there's much you can change
in OL2000

Thanks, Vince. Another quick question, is the Conversation field calculated by Outlook,
or is it taken from a field in the message header? Just curious as to whether emails
coming from different clients would affect this functionality.
