Grid???

I teach mathematics.

I type my math tests on WORD 97 (I use it in conjunction with MATh Type).

Is there a way to incorporate a small grid on my tests (for graphing
problems)?

I know on the bottom of the screen if I click on Draw I can then choose grid
and it asks for some settings. But I don't know how to put a grid in my
document and I can't seem to find it in the Help Index.

Currently, I made a grid on a MS WORKS spreadsheet and I can copy and paste,
but I would like to do it in WORD. (I can also create one in Geometer's
Sketchpad and do the same) Any ideas? I must be missing something simple.

Suzanne:

I noticed a lot of times folks double-post.
I also notice that the subjects seem to pretty much overlap.

Maybe the groups should be combined???

It certainly would save you from writing this same note 50 times.

No, there's a reason for having two groups (or at least there used to be
before MS labeled this one "General Questions").

They are still separate and cover two different topics as far as we're
concerned.

But unfortunately Microsoft found it necessary to take a newsgroup
geared towards document management related questions and call it "Word
General Discussions' against everyone else's better judgment. (It was
due to taxonomy and the need to integrate "General" newsgroup access
from the Office 2003 apps.)

There used to be a word.general group years ago (actually it can still
be found one some servers) but it started getting so much traffic it
wasn't doing anyone any good and about 15 newsgroups for specific Word
topics were created instead and they were manageable.

We're starting to see so much traffic here and it seems to increase
each week as the new web interface to access the newsgroups on the
Microsoft site gets more publicity and as more users migrate to Word
2003. I worry this group will suffer the same fate as the old one...
