Grid Lines imported to Word

Hi!

Does anyone know how to copy from excel to word without the gridlines
showing on the Word file? I am copying a table and even if I set the
background to white and deselect the gridline box they still copy over,
however, they don't print on Word. There will be other people veiwing
the Word file so it needs to look clean.

Thanks for all your help

It's because word see it as a table so what you see are word table grids,
you can paste special and select unformatted text
