Embed Excel Spreadsheet in Word ?

P

Peter

I have created a Gantt Chart with Excel. I would like to embed that
spreadsheet in Word for a report. I have used "Paste Special" --> "MS Excel
Object"

However, there is 2 problems
1) Part of the Excel Spreadsheet is not shown in Word (Even though I have
chosen A3 as paper size for the Word Document). Is there any way to include
the whole spreadsheet ?
2) Is it possible to paste in such a way that the gridlines are shown ?
(Like the one that I print with gridline shown)

Your advice is sought.

It depends on the size of the data that you are pasting. If it's wide, then
pasting it into portrait view may not let you view as much wide as the
spreadsheet. You can edit the size of the field that you have pasted into
the word document, much as you can edit a static picture. This can help you
see more information, but decreases the clarity. Check what data you want to
display and how wide it is. You may just have to change to landscape view.

To get the gridlines to show, you have to do the borders before copying and
pasting. The gridlines that you see in excel by default aren't actually
there. If you print out that page, then you won't see the gridlines. you
have to draw them in, then copy and paste to get them to show.

Hope this helps.
Frank.
