Greyed usb-harddisk

I got a Plextor USB-harddisk and wan´t to change the location of My
documents to that disk.
I use PowerToys for Windows XP.
You open a tree and point to the new location. It doesn´t however work as
the OK button is greyed
out.
When I do the same thing with my Lacie USB-disk it´s no problem.
I can also open and save files on my Plextor.
Does anyone has a idea how to solve this?

Is this a new device and plugged in the first time? If so you have to format
it using the Disk Management tool.
