greyed out share this folder on the network

Hi
When I click sharing and security the boxes make this
folder private and share this folder on the network are
greyed out. How do I fix this since I don't want these
folders shared all the time.

What folder is it? By default, Windows XP doesn't allow sharing the
Program Files and Windows folders and individual users' folders within
Documents and Settings.

If you have XP Professional, you can remove the sharing restrictions
by disabling simple file sharing.
