Graphics turned into Red Boxes

After installing IE 7 about a week ago, when I logged back on, my browser
shows red boxes where the graphics would be. I have checked all my settings
and run antivirus, spyware and adware packages too no avail. Any help with
this would be most appreciated as I can't seem to find anything about this
occurring.
