Graphics on worksheet

Greetings!

Is there a way to place a graphic behind cells so that I
can see the graphic but still click in the cells over it
and add numbers or formulas to those cells?

My goal is to - short of creating something in Access
since many clients don't have it/use it - scan in a form
and have it on a worksheet while using cells for
formulas, calculations, etc.

Anyone have any experience with this? I can do something
similar in Word using some calculation fields or in
PowerPoint using perhaps a chart data table, or could
make a form in Access, but would really prefer to use
Excel.

many thanks for any info...

Only by Formatting the Background (Format / Sheet / Background) to use a picture, but you would
have to play with the picture size depending on what you wanted. It would not be behind
individual cells though, it would be the whole sheet (It will tile).

Cool - thanks, Ken!

One further clarification, if you please - Excel does not
print the background, another highly desirable aspect of
this form. What am I doing wrong?

thanks,

Paris
