Graphics load Slowly

Hello all,

I have a Compaq NC6220 Laptop running WindowsXP SP2 with a intel 915GM/GMS
graphics chipset. The problem I'm having is that whenever I open any doc
file the graphics embedded in that doc file take a long time to load if they
even do. These same files will open as expected on another computer.

I am running the latest video driver on the laptop and other NC6220 laptops
with the exact same hardware and drivers do not exhibit this problem. I have
checked the Office options and the placeholders option is not on. (plus the
graphics will usually load after 25-30secs.)

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
