ok my pc is like 4-5 years old i think not to sure but any way im going to upgrade it for the 1st lol i know anyway i want to know if a ATI Radeon HD 3450 256MB

You have the model of the PC have you tryed trawling google for more information?
Even going to HP.com and looking there?

So now we know it uses a PCI-E slot 2.0 and is backward compatable with PCI-E 1.0

Is that the card you want to fit into your machine?
