how do I check on computer what graphics card my computer is using? if its
turned on etc..as my new installed game is not playing well..

There are many ways to see which graphics card is installed in your
computer...here's one:

Start > Help and Support > 'Use Tools to view your computer information and
diagnose problems' (in the right column) > 'My Computer Information' (in the
left column) > 'Find information about the hardware installed on this
computer' (in the right column)

http://www.belarc.com .. download and run the program.. then look in the
'display' section for info on your video card.. integrated graphics are
never really good for games, even some of the higher powered ones..

The minimum requirements often found on the outside of the packaging assume
that the game will be run in lowest resolution and detail.. what game do you
have?

1) Start > Run > MSinfo32.exe.

or

2) Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information

or

3) Start > Run > DXDiag.exe.

or

4) Right-click My Computer > Manage > Device Manager.

or

5) If none of the built-in tools provide the information you want, you
can use these utilities to help determine the answer to your question:

SiSoft's Sandra

Unlimited Possibilities' AIDA32

Lavalys' Everest Home

or

6) Look in the manual/documentation that came with the computer.
