Google for "dvi graphics card"
When you upgrade the whole system, you'll probably start
with a new mobo that will use PCI Express, so I wouldn't
worry too much about forward upgrades using the new graphics
card.
Consider what you need and want, such as TV in/out capture,
will it run your current monitor at the desired native
resolution?

message |I have just upgraded to a LCD monitor with DVI input. I
wish to upgrade my
| existing Graphic card with one that has DVI capability.
|
| I am really looking for any advice and or recommendation
| for a card that will provide DVI and be compatible with my
aging PC. The
| specs are as follows:
|
| Motherboard=EPOX 8KTA 3+
| AMD Athlon 1.33GHZ CPU 266 FSB
| AGP is 4x
|
| I am not a mad gamer, so don't need top spec, however I
would like a fairly
| decent one as I will upgrade rest of PC one day. I am not
sure whether or
| not 8x cards will work on a 4x AGP or is PCI an option?
|
| Would be grateful for any advice.
