Graphics and Buttons Missing from Web Pages

Recently reloaded my system and upgraded to IE6. Now some webpages download
with missing graphics and buttons -- I get white rectangles with x's in the
corners. Is this something easy to remedy or do I have to start over?

Running W98, IE 6, ATT dialer, Norton Internet Security (have prroblem with
and without ad/popup blocker).

Never mind, I found a thread above and that led me to a solution (I hope it
lasts). Auto-encoding wasn't checked.
