How can I, or is there a way to grant users access to a
computer running Win XP-Pro by the time of day. FOr
instance, I want to give my kids access to the computer
from 8:00am to 11:00pm only. I thought I heard of a way to
do this from the command line, but i don't remember the
syntax. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

See www.dougknox.com, Win XP Tips, How to Restrict a Users Logon Hours.
Note: in a stand alone or workgroup environment, this will not force the
user to log off when their time expires.

Ok, so there is a way to restrict log on access but is
there a way to log that person off at a specified time.
What about using the "at" command through Scheduled Tasks?

Try using a third party software like 'Enuff', this allows scheduled use to
users and can be used to restrict total time per day for certain
applications, ie. 2 hours maximum of games, unlimited use of productivity
software.
I think it's at www.akrontech.com
