hmm.. er... don't use the cheat codes until you finish the game "properly" 
I made the mistake of leavng my nephew to play the game one day i was out, and he used a load of them, and he saved over my save games the litlle *%^&$% 
good game mind you, and I like some of the clever things like the names on the billboards etc
