Once upon a time someone gave me a link to a Webmaster Tools website that
would create (among other things) an image file that would would get lighter
in any one of 4 directions.

If that person or another person is still here, could you give me the link
again? I lost it

Hi Tom,

In addition to online gradient generators there are many photo/imaging type
programs that allow you to create gradients (as well as many other things)

I happen to like this one (free)
