GPO to change "ProviderOrder"?

Guest

Is anyone aware of a GPO to change the "ProviderOrder" registry key?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider\

We have some GPOs already applied that control things like Office settings,
services, redirected folders, restricted groups, etc - the norm ... but the
ProviderOrder tab is missing from the Network Connections are where its
normally found and we cannot for the life of us think where to start to bring
it back.

However, if there was a way for us to set a GPO to determine the Provider
order, then we are set because we run Novell and AD (Dont ask!).

Any ideas?

Thankyou

You can use tip 9808 » PolicyMaker™ Registry Extension freeware.
in the 'Tips & Tricks' at http://www.jsifaq.com to set the ProviderOrder Value Name.
If is a REG_SZ data type at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider\Order.
