GPO order and performance

I got a GPO for some lab machines in an OU. I am enforcing a lot of the GPO
settings both computer and user.

I am locking down desktops, doing document redirection, restrciting access
to control panel etc etc ertc

Question is do I need to split these settings up into 2 or 3 GPOs or should
I just use one?

Hi,

It is a personal Preference. I use one OU for Computers and put a
Computer GPO on that OU where I set computer settings in the Comp
Config. I have a separate OU for my Users with one Group Policy and
then child OU’s where I further divide my 1200 users and set other
policies for specific groups.

Cheers,

Lara
