GPO problem applied to computer object

We are using GPO to apply the newest version of McAfee antivirus. This
works fine on 90% of our Win2K PRO workstations. On the rest, it refuses to
work.

We have gone as far as formatting the machine and reloading the OS, with no
success. I can't see anything conclusive using tools like netdiag, and I
don't see anything wrong with our DNS config.

Any ideas? Steps I can take to troubleshoot?

Believe it or not, this problem may have been solved. All of the PCs that
do not work have Kingston 100TX network cards. When that card was removed
from a PC that failed and a 3Com card put in its place, it immediately
picked up the policy.

Will update with more info.
