GPO Internet Explorer Ports

When applying GPO to controll IE Lan Settings\Ports the settings don't take.
I am using a script to controll reg settings in the intirum. While I diagnose
this problem. There seems to be several related KB's concerning GPO and IE.
The Hot fixes so far have not resolved the problem. I am able to configure
via GPO anything but Ports.
Very confusing
