Got trouble with dialup connection to another network

I got Windown XP Professional and the problem I had was about dialup connection. I can connect to my school network with existing connection. But using the connection wizard to open a new connection to my workplace, I can't connect to the network. When I try this phone number with my old laptop having Win95 in it, the connection is alright.
So, username, password, phone# are correct and the connection is good with Win95 but it is not with WinXP. Weird, huh?

The error message "the remote host doesn't respond..." is from Win XP dialing, but dialing from Win XP it get connected to the host. I tried increase and decrease bps but it still doesn't work.

Any help, please.

Thanks for the replying to my message. I did unenable and enable the internal firewall, but it didn't work either
