Got my hard drive

Well, I got my hard drive yesterday that I pulled from my mom's old computer
since she got her new one on Friday. Now I have an 80GB hard drive again
and now my Vista partition is opened back up again for Vista. (I had to use
my Vista partition to reinstall XP on until I got my replacement hard
drive.) My Sempy 64 2800+ is OC'd to 2GHz now, and it's running just fine.
I can now run WMP10's Blazing Colors visualization at full screen
(1280x1024) without it lagging at all. I'm really impressed at what this
cheap little Sempy can do. I'm almost glad that I didn't spend the extra
$40 to $50 for an Athlon 64 3000+ because this thing is running almost
comparable to one when overclocked. The only disadvantage is my Sempy only
has half the cache that the A64 does. I also now installed the IE7 Beta 2
on XP, and it's okay except the cleartype was annoying. IE7 opens instantly
when I double click it. It even works okay on an eMachines T1090. (with a
900MHz Celeron) I shut off the cleartype, but apparently it affects my
Outlook Newsreader too because now my text is cleartype in here also. I'll
have to see if I can figure out how to do away with that. My monitor's a
CRT, so cleartype doesn't look right at all.

It's Outlook Express, but in the title, it says
'microsoft.public.windows.vista.general - Microsoft Outlook Newsreader'.

Yeh, it annoys me how it does that... it's taking an XP product, hijacking
it and changing the title to make it sound like it's a part of Office...
pppfttt.
