Google-toolbar beta for Firefox (why-oh-why?)

So you have a double popupkiller, a double google-searchbar, a double
auto-filler. What are thet thinking ?

They are probably thinking that the unofficial Googlebar for Firefox is
so popular, that they need to be involved, if only to protect their own
brand.
 
well the auto filler that comes with the google toolbar is better than the
one that comes with the unofficial toolbar, and also it don't have a
popupblocker

proxomitron is small, works for *all* http, https (browsers) and blocks more than just popups. i use the log window to see
various things going on.
example, to see the actual links.
