Google Problem

Hi;

Why does my computer when I put in a selected name does not display the
searched name in the same position on Google as on my friend's computers?
Like if I put in www.nbc.com it comes up as #1 on Google on several other
peoples computers but not on mine where it comes in at #9 on the second
page? Could something be preventing this from registering properly on my
computer?

Google has a "Preferences", that allows you to customize the search
criteria and results (Languages). There is also a Safe Search that will
omit some matches.

That is correct.
Many times spyware will add entries to your google and msn and yahoo search
top ten results.

Why ask this here? This is not related ot XP. You should be asking
Google.
