Google doesnt open at all in IE6 or Firefox, in one computer of several. It
works in 3 PCs.
All other sites opens but not Google at all. We use XP. What can be wrong?

Do a files search for file called "hosts".
By the way, the Hosts file may be a hidden file.
This file should be in the Windows\System32\Drivers\ETC folder

Open this file with Notepad and see if Google is listed with an address of 127.0.0.0.
If so remove this line from the Hosts file and you should see Google again.
The Hosts file is set to block any web site by giving it an address of 127.0.0.0

Did you try disabling your firewall?

Try disabling all add-ons in IE?

Yet try rebooting into Windows' Safe Mode (with networking)?
