google earth does not launch

Hello,

Recently, I clicked on the google earth icon on my desktop and was
prompted to download the latest version - 4.3 I think. This process
was extremely problematic but eventually I managed to download a copy.
When I click on the new icon, however, nothing happens. How can I
launch google earth 4.3?

I'm afraid this is a Google problem rather than XP and you will probably
have better luck in a Google forum.
