good memtest(er)

Hello,
I am an avid computer gamer and in other posts Ive read, Ive seen people
talk about running "memtest" to check their RAM to make sure it is running
correctly. What is a good memtest program out there that works well with
windows XP?

Memtest86 is not being maintainted by the original creator any more, so
it has been taken over by another coder and is now more current. The
most recent version is Memtest86+ and can be downloaded from
www.memtest86.org. You can download the precompiled Windows binary if
you want to make a bootable floppy or, if you have third-party burning
software capable of working with .iso's installed, download the .iso
for a bootable cd. In either case, boot from the chosen media and the
test will run immediately.
