going nuts

hello chaps my names gavin and i need your help. went to
bed last night computer good. Get up in morning computer
not work.. I am gettin the error message UNABLE TO START
EVENT LOGGER. What the hell is that all about tryed
system restore from safe mode with promt doesent work can
you help thanks

Have a look in
Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services

and put "Event Log" on automatic, if not already
